If only this price would be true!

Nice price for a non existing tuner from Alpha. Not true of course, it will cost 2995 USD ! Alpha has very nice equipment for amateurradio and commercial use. Though I think it's for the wealthy radioamateur only. The cheapest item is a QRP/QRO wattmeter, a jewel really, but still 745 USD. Not really my budget for the hobby.

Good morning Bas, WOW those sure are some very steep prices but for those who want the best and know what they want these are the babies. Funny thing....when we purchased our last set of kitchen appliances we went from mid to high end. WELL....as we found out the hard way with appliances anyway it really makes not difference. We still had the same amount of breakdowns (parts costing twice as much) and they also only lasted about 10 years. Going back to the mid range babies next time.

Hello Mike, not shure if the comparisation you made counts for this kind of equipment. Take that Alpha 9500, it can do 1500W continuesly no time limit. Not shure if any other amp. can do this! Anyway, when we came in this house the kitchen had some hi-end appliances we were used to have mid-range which is most of the time Bosch or Siemens here in Europe. Well, all those expensive appliances failed within 2 years we lived here. So, we have the same experience. 73, Bas
